- start with base SL6
- install ruby gems packaging system: yum install rubygems ruby-devel
- install ruby on rails:

- gem install fastthread
- gem install mysql
- gem install passenger
- gem install rdoc
- install passenger_mod (apache httpd module)
- cd /usr/lib/ruby/gems/1.8/gems/passenger-4.0.8
- ./bin/passenger-install-apache2-module
