The Time Slice concept is to divide the acquisition time into segments and submit them individually to a pool of Time Slice Processors (TSP). Based on the duration of the time segment, the analysis performance, and the processing power of the TSPs, an adequate number of them will be able to handle the continuous data stream from all the detectors.
