EPICS EDM graphical tool

  • on SL6, if you see the error "Font init failed - abort":
    • confirm that xorg-x11-fonts are installed (yum -y install xorg-x11-fonts"*")
    • add the fonts to the font path (in the login scripts):
xset fp+ /usr/share/X11/fonts/100dpi
xset fp+ /usr/share/X11/fonts/75dpi
