The following new flags have been recently introduced

These flags are created automatically and preset to n. If set to y, the run start procedure will fail if

  • an alarm has been triggered or
  • a required program is not running.

Programs can be flagged required by setting /Programs/<client-name>/Required to y.

Typically the logger and all front-end programs should be required programs.
