The dotplot file can be written before starting a SusiQ run if desired. The
intention however, was that online dotplot definitions would determine the
save_set at the end of the run. As you acquire data, it is possible to define
new dotplots. If at the end of a SusiQ session, you exit properly (i.e. without
crashing, ctl-alt-del or equivalent), SusiQ will save all the previous dotplot
definitions in a file labeled file.DOT provided that you have defined
the name of that file. i.e. DOTFILE file.DOT in susiq.dft.
The format of the dotplot in the file.DOT is:
