It does not take a variable as a path, but as an index. So you can do

LOOP i, 5

  WAIT seconds, 3
  ODBSET /System/Tmp/Test[$i], $i

ENDLOOP


And you will get

/System/Tmp/Test
[1] 1
[2] 2
[3] 3
[4] 4
[5] 5
